I pretty much show up at school at the same day, every day. Each day as I sit in my Jeep and munch on my bagel, I see the same girl drive in with her snazzy supped up street racer of a car and attempt to park. EVERY DAY this girl tries to back in to the same space about 4 times then gets mad and zooms away to some other spot where she finally pulls in nose first. When she does land a keeper spot it’s usually after giving up on three other spots and usually after the second or third try at each of the previous spots. She will zoom in, get out and walk around her car, get back in, back out and pull right back in the same spot, get out and so on. She hasn’t figured out that if you back up and pull forward without turning the wheel, you will end up in the same place. She always looks so frustrated. Today I almost walked over to help her out by telling her there are point along the edge of her hood that are in line with her front tires and if you use those to help point your car, you will end up in the right spot every time. At the last minute I decided not to. If I try to help her out she just might scream and call the police because a strange man walked up to her in a public place. OR if I say something and she does learn how to park then what am I supposed to watch while I eat my bagel every morning? Like I always say, “some times it’s the simple things that keep us entertained”.

Today is registration for the winter quarter day so last night I got all my classes is order so I would be ready right at 8:00 am when the online registration opened. I got up at 6:00am, logged in and got everything ready so all I had to do was hit enter. When 8:00am rolled around I hit enter and bam! Nothing but errors! So I get dressed in about 10 seconds and race down town to school only to find no parking AND 300 people in line ahead of me. NICE! When I finally got up to see someone who could help me the woman says all of the errors are because I was trying to take to many units? I told her I was full time so I should be able to sign up for up to 20 units and I was having issues with 12? She says “oh you are listed as part time”? Huh? Ok, now I get to wait in giant ass line two to get a counselor to change my status to full time. When I got that fixed it was back in to giant ass line 1 to get the rest of my classes. Sheesh! I ended up having breakfast in the school dining facility which isn’t to bad accept the large coffee tastes like it was scalded. I don’t care, I’ll drink it anyway.
Yeah, it’s Monday. This past weekend was WAY to fast for my liking. I finished a few of the things on the list of things to do but most of the weekend was spent doing stupid things. This quarter is almost over. I have this week then Thanksgiving week off then one more week and a final. The winter quarter starts on January 4th which isn’t very far off. I can’t even pick my winter classes for another two weeks. I think I am going to continue to go part time until I can sign up for financial aid. Classes are pretty expensive right now so I may just pick two classes and maybe get a part time job. My one year waiting period ends right after the winter quarter so I can ramp up after this next one is over. Thank God I decided to wait for a massive depression to go back to school. It seems like 10 years ago they were practically giving money away in buckets. Then again if I went back to school ten years ago my major would have been engineering and I would have ended up hanging myself by now. No offence to any engineers but that’s not my cup of tea and I would have ended up being miserable. This morning is going to be a reading morning. I am taking a study skills class that is turning out to be very enlightening. One of the sections I am reading now has a quick test to see what field of work you may be interested in and I turned out to be a “feeling” type of person which is more suited for people/public type work like nursing of all things. Huh, where was this whacky but very accurate test when I was in high school. Hahhahaahaha. In fact most of the two chapters I have been reading have been right on the money. The other chapter I am starting today is about the effects of stress and how to deal with stress. NICE! Another chapter I could have read about 8 years ago. It could have saved me from spending thousands on blood pressure medicine and doctor visits while Microsoft was slowly draining my soul. hahahahahaha

Yeah, yeah, yeah I am back to writing something once a week.
Right now I am slapping myself and typing at the same time. My birthday went OK
I guess. I had an exam on Friday so we all went out to dinner on Friday instead
of the 5th. We went to McGrath’s so I could get some oysters and a
beer “like I said it’s down to the simple things”. Everything was going fine
until my brother and his family showed up. He dropped everyone off and had to
run in to work to restart a test and while he was gone both kids got real wound
up and the rest of the evening was like having dinner with two bags full of
cats. After sitting there for almost 2 hours I wanted to slam my head in a door
a few times to make the pain go away. After dinner I told my mother that I will
never be a parent. I couldn’t deal with the wiggly, complainy, screamy years
and would probably sell my kids to the highest bidder. I have two major pet
peeves when it comes to public places. One being people who talk or disrupt
movies and the other people who are loud and disruptive in restaurants. Dinner
Friday broke rule number two in to a thousand pieces. Afterward everything was
fine; we had cake at home and the kids made me a birthday card which was
covered in hand prints which was pretty cool and everyone else got me gift
cards. Saturday I went out to lunch with my brother then we went to see Men Who
Stare at Goats which was hi-sterical. The rest of the weekend I pretty much spent
laying low and not doing to much. Monday I got my exam and the quiz pervious to
it and I got an A on both tests. Yesterday, I had Veteran’s Day off so I
decided to pool all of my gift cards and pick up a nicer coffee maker and some
other stuff. The new coffee maker is pretty nice. I got to leave the house with
my own coffee instead of buying some on the way to school.

eight year old. When ever I have to kill time I like to play Bejeweled but it
seems to get irritated with me when I can’t see any moves. I swear I haven’t
completed any more than one and a half levels in about 100 games. The screen is
only 1 inch by 1 inch so I think it should cut me some slack but no, if it has
to show me more than two moves per game I instantly get shut down. I guess my phone thinks I am too stupid to
play Bejeweled and tries to save me the headache and embarrassment by ending
the game early. I don’t like mean phones.
